Personal Purchase Program for Faculty, Staff, and Students

Agreement and Certification

By placing this order, I, the purchaser, agree and certify that:

1. I am currently a faculty, staff, or student of the University of Illinois.

2. I am purchasing personal computer products for my own personal, educational, or

research use.

3. I agree to purchase from the University no more than one (1) desktop personal computer,

and/or one (1) notebook personal computer, and/or no more than one (1) of each version

of a Microsoft product purchased via the Student Select program.

NOTE: Only qualified students can purchase from the Microsoft Select program for individual use.

1. I understand that: 1) The University of Illinois does not warrant nor guarantee the

personal computer products purchased hereunder; 2) The University of Illinois

disclaims all implied warrantees on personal computer products purchased hereunder

in regard to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose; 3) The stated express

warrantees of the manufacturer of the personal computer products purchased

hereunder are in lieu of all obligations or liabilities on the part of the University of

Illinois arising out of in connection with the performance of the personal computer

products purchased hereunder; and, 4) In no event will the University of Illinois be

liable for any special, consequential, or incidental damages, however caused, whether

for breach of warranty by the manufacturer, negligence, or otherwise by the

manufacturer or its dealers.
