Campus Mail Distribution is responsible for picking up all outgoing
U.S. mail and picking up and delivering all intra-campus mail for the University.
University Intra-Campus Mail Service
Campus Mail Distribution staff can meet all your campus mailing needs, including the following additional services:
Delivery of library books on a limited scale
Delivery of packages under 10 pounds
Campus mail shuttle service to the Chicago campus Because Campus Mail Distribution services are primarily state-supported, they are provided free-of-charge to University departments, support units, and student groups.
U.S. Postal Service
Campus Mail Distribution staff are your liaison to the U.S. Postal Service. Departments' outgoing U.S. mail is: picked up, processed for domestic and international mail, and delivered to the U.S. Postal Service assuring that it receives proper postage and meets all other requirements. They will also readdress “undeliverable as addressed” U.S. mail. Using Campus Mail Distribution can save your department time, money, and stress.
All U.S. mail is delivered to the U.S. Post Office within 24 hours after it is picked up from a campus office.
