Apple Store For Education

The Apple Store for Education is an easy way for Apple customers to get complete information, product specifications, or even custom configure the Mac of their dreams.

DEPARTMENTS

Departments are encouraged to use the site as a resource for pricing, product information, and for custom configuring system units. An order from the Apple store can be faxed or sent via Campus Mail to the Computer Center with an accompanying Stores Requisition. Please include with your order the Apple Store quote number and the name of the person who was referenced on the quote. This information speeds ordering and insures accuracy.

The Computer Center will place the order, automatically bill the department, affix the property control tag if appropriate, and deliver the item to your department office. The pricing from the Apple Store and from the Computer Center is the same.

All Apple pre-built items (an item on the Apple Price list that has a part number) are available to departments via the Campus Stores Web Cat ordering system. Custom Configurations, at this time, must be ordered via a fax or campus mail. Please remember that Apple has a "no return" policy on custom configurations.

STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to use the Apple Store as a resource for pricing, product information, and to custom configure a system. Individuals, students, staff, and faculty, may order directly from the Apple Store for Higher Education. Please remember that all sales are final from the Apple Store. Students faculty and staff will save money by using the INSTITUTIONAL STORE to generate a proposal. The Micro Order Center can place an order on the behalf of the individual. Payments will be requested in advance for custom configurations. If you wish assistance in placing your order, or do not wish to give your credit card number on line, please stop by the Micro Order Center. The staff there will be happy to place an order for you and process your payment to the University of Illinois.

All Apple Pre-built items are available for order from the Micro Order center. Most of the Apple Pre-built systems are carried in stock. Please remember that Apple has a "no return" policy on custom configurations.
